WCSO Alerts: Slew of entering autos and theft out of vehicle at CoParts

The Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following Crime Awareness Community Alerts for the period Monday, Oct. 14 – Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2019. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

Monday, Oct. 14, 2019

Zone 1

Entering Auto- Deputies took a report at a residence on Amber Hills Drive in reference to complainant reporting an unlocked vehicle on location by two unknown individuals in the early morning hours. No items missing.

Zone 6

Arrest- A 30-year-old resident of Gainesville, Ga. was arrested in the area of Highway 78 and Bay Creek Road for a warrant out of Hall County following a traffic stop.

Arrest- A 20-year-old resident of Lawrenceville, Ga. was arrested in the area of Highway 78 and Bay Creek Road for giving false information following a traffic stop.

Stolen Vehicle- Deputies took a report at a residence on Centerville Rosebud Road in reference to complainant reporting a recovered gooseneck trailer located on the side of the road in Gwinnett County. The vehicle has been removed from the National Database.

Zone 7

Arrest- A 29-year-old resident of Monroe, Ga. was arrested at a residence on Stewart Road for Disorderly Conduct following a Dispute call.

Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2019

Zone 1

Entering Auto- Deputies took a report at several residences on Sterling Water Drive in reference to several complainants reporting an unknown individual entered several unlocked vehicles throughout the location. Walton County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Division and Walton County Sheriffs’ Office Criminal Investigations Division responded.

Entering Auto- Deputies took a report at a residence on Lakeshore Drive in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual entered several vehicles on location. No items taken. Walton County Sheriffs’ Office Criminal Investigations Division notified.

Stolen Vehicle- Deputies took a report at a residence on Lakeshore Drive in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual stole a red 2016 GMC Canyon pickup truck from the location. The vehicle has been recovered in DeKalb County. Walton County Sheriffs’ Office Criminal Investigations Division notified.

Entering Auto- Deputies took a report at a residence on Creekside Drive in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual entered a vehicle on location. No items were taken. Walton County Sheriffs’ Office Criminal Investigations Division notified.

Entering Auto- Deputies took a report at several residences on Amber Hills Way in reference to complainants reporting an unknown individual entered several vehicles on location. Walton County Sheriffs’ Office Criminal Investigations Division notified.

Arrest- A 37-year-old resident of Miamisburg, OH. was arrested at a residence on Cannon Farm Road for criminal trespassing following a suspicious person call.

Zone 5

Chase- Deputies responded to the area of Highway 78 and Troy Smith Road in reference to a subject refusing to stop for a traffic stop. An individual resident of Covington, Ga. was shortly apprehended and arrested.

Criminal Trespass­- Deputies took a report on Lois Lane in reference to complainant reporting individuals refusing to stay away from the location. Parties served with Criminal Trespass warnings.

Zone 6

Arrest- A 46-year-old resident of Marietta, Ga. was arrested in the area of Youth Monroe Road and Raymonds Drive for a felony probation warrant out of Carroll County following a traffic stop.

Theft Report- Deputies took a report at CoParts on Highway 20 in reference to complainant reporting items missing out of a vehicle on location.

Damage to Property- Deputies took a report at Between Mini Storage on Highway 78 in reference to complainant reporting locks were cut off of 2 trailers on location sometime between Sunday, October 13th and Tuesday, October 15th. No items taken.

Zone 7

Arrest- An 18-year-old resident of Loganville, Ga. was arrested at a residence on Highway 81 for warrant out of Walton County Sheriff’s Office following a dispute call.
