Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following Community Alerts for Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2017. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.
Entering Auto- Deputies took a report at a residence on Highway 278 in Oasis Mobile Home Park in reference to an unknown individual taking items from complainants vehicle.
Extra Patrol- Extra patrol was requested in the area of Highway 11 and Power Rail Locomotive in reference to several individuals sleeping in the locomotives on location and cutting wires that connect to the locomotives.
Arrest- Kristina Escoe was arrested at a residence in the area of Mount Vernon Road for an outstanding warrant out of Oconee County.
Fraud- Deputies took a report at a residence on Shadow Wood Drive in reference to an unknown individual using complainants debit card information to make purchases in a different county.
Fraud- Deputies took a report at a residence on Maple Creek Court in reference to an individual claiming to be with a government grant taking $3,500 from complainant. Grant was found to be fake.
Theft- Deputies took a report at a residence on Grady Smith Road in Grady Springs Mobile Home Park in reference to an unknown individual taking money orders from complainants drop box. This is an ongoing issue and two other locations have been target in the last couple days.
Scam- Deputies took a report at a residence on Lafayette Drive in reference to complainant receiving calls from Capital One on an account they do not have.
