WCSO Alerts: Stolen skid steer recovered; Slew of arrests result from traffic stops

The Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following Community Awareness Crime Alerts for the period Friday, Nov. 6 to Monday, Nov. 9, 2020. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

Friday, Nov. 6, 2020
 
ZONE 4
 
Theft- Deputies took a report at a residence on Partain Road in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual took a package with an iPhone from the complainants residence sometime between 4:00pm and 5:00pm. iPhone was entered on the National Database as stolen.
 
Arrest- A 37-year-old Monroe resident was arrested in the area of Hill Haven Church for an outstanding Probation Violation warrant out of Walton County following a suspicious person call.
 
ZONE 6
 
Stolen Skid Steer- Deputies took a report on Irvin Drive in reference to a Lo Jack signal on a Skid Steer that was reported stolen out of Norcross Police Department around 9:20am. Walton County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division responded and took custody of the equipment. Norcross Police Department was notified.
 
Arrest- A 28-year-old Norcross man was arrested in the area of Highway 20 and Creekwood Trail for Hit and Run and Driving Without a License following a two-vehicle accident with no injuries.
 
Arrest- A 35-year-old Lithonia resident was arrested in the area of Highway 20 and Lance Court for Driving Under the Influence, Failure to Maintain Lane, Open Container, and Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce following a traffic stop. 

Saturday, Nov. 7, 2020
 
ZONE 1
 
Arrest- A 34-year-old Covington resident was arrested in the area of Highway 138 and H D Atha Road for Driving Under the Influence and Failure to Maintain Lane following a traffic stop.
 
ZONE 6
 
Suspicious Vehicle- Deputies responded to the area of Sunny Hill Drive in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual in a white panel van stopped at the residence twice and took picture of the residence around 11:00am. Deputies thoroughly checked the area, but had no contact with the vehicle.
 
Arrest- A 31-year-old Michigan man was arrested in the rea of Tommy Fuller Drive and Conyers Road for Possession of THC, Possession of Oxycodone, Possession of Hydrocodone, Possession of MDMA, Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce, Possession of Promethazine, and a Taillight Violation following a traffic stop.
 
ZONE 7
 
Arrest- A 31-year-old Bethlehem man was arrested in the area of Thompson Mill Road for an outstanding warrant out of Lawrenceville Police Department following a traffic stop. 

Sunday, Nov. 8, 2020
 
ZONE 1
 
Arrest- A 21-year-old Monroe man was arrested in the area of Vines Street for an outstanding Probation Violation warrant out of Walton County following a traffic stop.
 
ZONE 4
 
Arrest- A 39-year-old Monroe man was arrested at a residence on Summerset Court for Simple Battery following a dispute.
 
ZONE 5
 
Entering Auto- Deputies took a report at a residence on Mason Court in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual entered the complainants unlocked vehicle and took several items sometime between 5:00pm and 6:00pm.
 
Arrest- A 40-year-old Monroe man was arrested at a residence on Mountain Creek Church Road for Reckless Conduct and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon following a call for service.
 
Scam- Deputies took a report at a residence on Lee Peters Road in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual contacted the complainant via telephone. The complainant advised the called was claiming to be with the Gwinnet County Sheriff’s Office and advised the complainant needed to send them money to avoid receiving criminal charges. 

Monday, Nov. 9, 2020
 
ZONE 1
 
Arrest- A 46-year-old Loganville resident was arrested at a residence on Walnut Avenue for two outstanding warrant out of Walton Count for Leaving the Scene of an Accident and Driving While License Suspended following a call for service.
 
Arrest- A 47-year-old Monroe resident was arrested at a residence on Woodchase Drive for an outstanding warrant out of Monroe Police Department following a call for service.
 
ZONE 3
 
Arrest- A 52-year-old Monroe woman was arrested at a residence on Snows Mill Road for an outstanding Probation Violation warrant out of Walton County.
 
ZONE 4
 
Arrest- A 36-year-old Monroe woman was arrested in the area of Gratis Road for an outstanding Probation Violation warrant out of Walton County following a traffic stop.
 
Arrest- A 25-year-old Monroe man was arrested in the area of Highway 78 and Mount Vernon Road for an outstanding warrant out of South Carolina following a traffic stop.
 
Arrest- A 26-year-old Monroe woman was arrested in the area of North Broad Street and G W Carver Drive for an outstanding warrant out of Habersham County following a traffic stop.
 
ZONE 5
 
Arrest- A 32-year-old Monroe resident was arrested in the area of Highway 11 near Adam’s Clinic for Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute and Possession of Drug Related Objects following a traffic stop.
 
ZONE 6
 
Arrest- A 39-year-old Lawrenceville woman was arrested at a residence on Stoney Brook Circle for Aggravated Assault and Disorderly Conduct following a dispute.
 
Arrest- A 45-year-old man and a 30-year-old Loganville man were arrested in the area of Highway 20 at Centerhill Baptist Church for Loitering/Prowling after being found on location in the late evening hours
