WCSO Alerts: Theft complaints and a slew of arrests

The Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following Crime Awareness Community Alerts for the period Tuesday, Jan. 22 to Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2019. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2019

ZONE 4

Arrest- John Brown was arrested in the area of Highway 78 at a gas station for Driving Under the Influence and Open Container after being found asleep behind the wheel of his vehicle after hours.

ZONE 5

Arrest- Steven Yearwood was arrested at a residence on South Cross Lane for Disorderly Conduct following a dispute.

ZONE 7

Arrest- Brandon Holeman was arrested in the area of Sardis Church Road and Youth Monroe Road for Loitering and Prowling, Obstruction, and Concealing the Identity of a Vehicle following a suspicious person call.

Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2019

ZONE 1

Theft- Deputies took a report at a residence on PJ East Road in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual took items from the complainant’s mailbox sometime between 3:45 pm and 5 pm on Jan. 19.

Theft- Deputies took a report at a residence on Selman Mill Road in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual took items from the residence sometime between 6:30 pm Jan. 22 and 10 am Jan.23.

Arrest- Gerald Weatherford was arrested in the area of Ashland Farm Road and Cannon Farm Road for an outstanding warrant out of Newton County and Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce following a traffic stop.

ZONE 5

Theft- Deputies took a report at a residence on Grady Smith Road in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual took items from the complainant’s mailbox sometime between 12 pm and 5 pm Jan. 13.

Arrest- Chad Wages Milsap was arrested at a residence on Richmond Place for an outstanding warrant out of Gwinnett County.

ZONE 7

Arrest- Ralph Parks was arrested in the area of Highway 138 and Walnut Grove for Driving While License Suspended following a traffic stop.
