WCSO Alerts: Theft, fraud, entering autos and stolen trailer

The Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following Crime Awareness Community Alerts for the period Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, Nov. 14 – 16, 2018. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2018

ZONE 1

Arrest- Tracey Parker was arrested in the area of Highway 138 and H D Atha Road for Possession of Drug Related Objects, Possession of Prescription Drugs Not in Original Container, Possession of Alprazolam, Possession of Tramadol, Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce, and Possession of Methamphetamine following a traffic stop.

ZONE 4

Extra Patrol- Extra patrol was requested through the day and night time hours in the area of Shoal Creek Road in reference to an ongoing issue with tractor trailers using the road as a shortcut road.

Extra Patrol- Extra patrol was requested through the day and night time hours in the area of Jack Glass Road in reference to an ongoing issue with speeding vehicles in the area.

ZONE 5

Damage to Property- Deputies took a report at a residence on Double Springs Road in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual striking their fence causing damage sometime between 7:30 am and 3:00 pm.

ZONE 6

Suspicious Vehicle- Deputies responded to the area of Rabbit Farm Road in reference to a complaint of an ongoing issue with an unknown motorist in a dark in color passenger vehicle driving around slowly in the area for the last week around 8:30 pm. Deputies thoroughly checked the area but had no contact.  Extra patrol requested in reference to the incident.

Arrest- Mary Williams was arrested at a residence on Broadnax Drive for Battery following a dispute.

Hit and Run- Deputies responded to the area of Highway 20 and Thompson Road for a two-vehicle accident where one vehicle fled the scene around 4:50 pm. No known injuries reported. Georgia State Patrol worked the accident.

ZONE 7

Arrest- Arthur Horton was arrested in the area of West Spring Street for an outstanding warrant out of Polk County.

Entering Auto- Deputies took a report at a residence on Lakeside Boulevard in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual entered the complainant’s vehicle and took several items sometime between 5:30 pm November 13th and 8:30 am November 14th.

Thursday, Nov. 15, 2018

ZONE 1

Suspicious Person- Deputies responded to the area of Twin Pines Road in reference to a complaint of unknown individuals walking in the wood line with flashlights around 2:40 am. Deputies thoroughly checked the area but had no contact with anyone.

ZONE 2

Theft- Deputies took a report at a residence on Trotters Lane in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual taking several items from complainant’s residence sometime between 12:00 pm November 10th and 3:00 pm November 15th.

ZONE 4

Stolen Trailer- Deputies took a report at a residence on James Huff Road in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual took complainant’s flatbed trailer sometime between 2:00 pm November 13th and 3:00 pm November 15th. Trailer placed on the national database as stolen.

ZONE 6

Fraud- Deputies took a report at a residence on Arblay Place in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual withdrew money out of the complainant’s bank account.

ZONE 7

Theft- Deputies took a report at a residence on Guthrie Cemetery Road in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual taking items from the complainant’s residence sometime between 6:00 pm November 8th and 12:00 pm November 15th.

Fraud- Deputies took a report at a residence on By Pass Road in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual using complainant’s debit card information to make purchases.

Friday, Nov. 16, 2018

ZONE 2

Arrest- Joshua Western was arrested in the area of South Broad Street near the Hardees for an outstanding warrant out of Coweta County following a traffic stop.

ZONE 3

Arrest- Steven Kennedy was arrested at a residence on Brook Lane for an outstanding warrant out of Monroe Police Department.

ZONE 4

Suspicious Person- Deputies responded to a residence on Phillips Drive in reference to a complaint of an unknown individual a red in color pickup truck came to complainant’s residence and rang the doorbell around 10:30 am and then walked around the residence. The unknown individual fled the scene when they saw the complainant. Deputies thoroughly checked the area but had no contact with anyone. Extra patrol requested in reference to the incident.

ZONE 5

Identity Theft- Deputies took a report at the West Walton Precinct on Twin Lakes Road in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual using the complainant’s information to open a Sprint Mobile Phone Account.

ZONE 6

Arrest- David Lotcin was arrested in the area of Rosebud Road near the Gwinnet County Line for Driving While Unlicensed following a traffic stop.
