The Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following Crime Awareness Community Alerts for Thursday, May 10, 2018. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.
Prowler- Deputies responded to a residence in the area of Wapakonata Trail in reference to complainant reporting they heard an unknown individual outside their residence around 11:30pm. Deputies thoroughly checked the area, but had no contact with anyone.
Arrest- Alexis Wynn was arrested at a residence on Chase Court in Wood Chase Subdivision for an outstanding warrant out of Dekalb County following a dispute.
Fraud- Deputies took a report at a residence on Whitney Road in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual made several charges on their debit account.
Arrest- Steven Broach was arrested in the area of Snows Mill Road for Driving While License Suspended following a traffic stop.
Suspicious Person- Deputies responded to the area of Gene Bell Road in reference to a complaint of an unknown male walking through the area messing with mailboxes around 8:30am. Deputies made contact with the individual and he was advised to leave the area.
Fraud- Deputies took a report at a residence on Holly Stand Court in Watson Mill Subdivision in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual opened a Sprint account in their name.
Extra Patrol- Extra patrol was requested in the area of Orchard Circle in The Orchard at Bold Springs Subdivision in reference to an ongoing issue with several unknown suspicious vehicles parking in the area between 10:00pm and 1:00am.
Entering Auto- Deputies took a report at a residence on Fox Hound Trace in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual entered their vehicle and took several items sometime between 8:30pm Thursday, May 10th and 6:00am Friday, May 11th.
Trespassing- Deputies responded to the Rock Quarry in the area of Anslee Lane in reference to unknown individuals on location without permission around 3:00pm. Deputies made contact with two juveniles and they were cited for Criminal Trespass.
Scam- Deputies took a report at a residence on Plantation Place in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual, claiming to be with American Web Loan, contacted them via telephone and advised they had to pay a fine or they would be arrested.
Extra Patrol- Extra patrol was requested in the area of Tall Pines Drive in reference to an ongoing issue with two suspicious unknown vehicles parking in the area around 4:00am to 7:00am.
