WCSO Alerts: Two arrested for marijuana, firearm violations; unlicensed juvenile driver cited

Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following Community Alerts for Tuesday and Wednesday, Jan. 16 – 17, 2018. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2018

ZONE 3

Arrest- Two teens were arrested and one juvenile driver cited in the area of Highway 83 following a traffic stop.

  • One teen was arrested for Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce and Tampering with Evidence.
  • One teen was arrested for Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce, Possession of Drug Related Objects, and Possession of a Firearm Underage.
  • One juvenile driver cited for Driving While Unlicensed.

ZONE 5

Arrest- Douglas Jones was arrested in the area of Highway 11 for an outstanding warrant out of Norcross following a traffic stop.

Arrest- Darrell Randolph was arrested in the area of Highway 11 for an outstanding warrant out of Barrow County following a traffic stop.

Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2018

ZONE 1

Suspicious Vehicle- Deputies responded to the area of Rivermist Drive in reference to several individuals on four wheelers in the roadway. Deputies made contact with the four wheeler operators and they were advised to stay out of the roadway and be mindful of their neighbors.

ZONE 3

Citation- One motorist was cited in the area of Charlot Rowe Road and Highway 78 for Driving Too Fast for Conditions, Following Too Close, Failure to Maintain Lane, Aggressive Driving, and Failure to Yield to an Emergency Vehicle following a traffic stop.

ZONE 4

Arrest- Michael Gibson, Christopher Lalumia, and Sara Wallace were arrested in the area of Highway 11 following a traffic stop.

  • Michael Gibson was arrested for Driving While License Suspended, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce.
  • Christopher Lalumia was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce.
  • Sara Wallace was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce, and Possession of Schedule II Drugs.
