WCSO Alerts: Vehicle accidents and a dog attack on a cat reported

The Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following Community Alerts for Thursday, July 27, 2017. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

ZONE 5

Citation: An individual was cited and released for Driving with a Suspended License after a traffic stop.

Arrest: Angela Barrett was arrested at a residence on Friendship Church Road for a Probation Violation Warrant, and Possession of a Schedule IV Drug.

Vehicle Accident: Deputies responded to a two vehicle accident on Highway 81 and Double Springs Road. No known injuries reported. Georgia State Patrol worked the scene of the accident.

Vehicle Accident: Deputies responded to a single vehicle accident on Bay Creek Church Road and Old Zion Cemetery Road. No known injuries reported. Walton County Sheriff’s Office worked the scene of the accident.

ZONE 6

Safety Check: Walton County Deputies conducted a safety check on McCullers Road and Clay Drive. There were no arrests and no citations.

Canine Bite: Deputies responded to a canine attack on a cat at a residence on Center Hill Church Road. Upon arrival deputies found two pit bulls and a beagle on location. Animal control was called and canines transported without incident.

Vehicle Accident: Deputies responded to a two vehicle accident at a business on Highway 78. Non-life threatening injuries reported. Georgia State Patrol worked the scene of the accident.

ZONE 7

Arrest: Kyle Allen was arrested on Center Hill Church Road and Sharon Church Road for Driving While License Suspended following a traffic stop.

Traffic Stop: A motorist was cited for Driving While Unlicensed on Highway 81  and Center Hill Church Road following a traffic stop.

Suspicious Vehicle: Deputies responded to the area of Cambridge Terrance in reference to a tan SUV pulling a trailer driving slowly through the neighborhood. Deputies thoroughly checked the area, no contact with the vehicle.
