The Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following Crime Awareness Community Alerts for the period Tuesday, Oct. 29 to Thursday, Oct. 31, 2019. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.
Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2019
Arrest: A 33-year-old female resident of Good Hope, Ga was arrested after getting into a physical fight with a family member.
Burglary: Deputies took a report on Dry Pond Road of several tools stolen out of a garage.
Arrest: A 23-year-old female resident of Commerce, Ga was transported from Gwinnett County Jail to the Walton County Jail for a bench warrant.
Theft: Deputies took a report about a computer that was ordered online from Sam’s Club but was never delivered by Fed-Ex.
Arrest: A 32-year-old resident of Loganville, Ga was arrested for a Failure to Appear Warrant, Possession of Schedule II and Drug-Related Objects after a traffic stop was conducted by Deputies.
Recovered Stolen Vehicle: Deputies assisted with a recovery of a 2004 Honda Accord that was stolen out of a gym in Gwinnett County.
Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2019
Theft: Deputies took a report of a stolen John Deer lawnmower, a metal table, a four-wheeler and other metal stolen from an address on Powers Road.
Theft: Deputies took a report of a 2016 Jeep Patriot stolen from an address on Fairwinds Drive.
Arrest: A 43-year-old resident of Loganville, Ga was arrested for Driving While Under the Influence after Deputies were on scene investigating a vehicle accident on Gum Creek Church Road.
Arrest: A 55-year-old resident of Loganville, Ga was arrested for Driving While Under the Influence after Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Highway 78 and Ga 20.
Thursday, Oct. 31, 2019
Damage To Property: Deputies took a report about subjects doing donuts in the parking lot and the baseball field of Cornish Mountain Baptist Church. Extra patrol was requested.
Threats: Deputies took a report at the Dominos on Highway 81 of an unknown male making threats towards staff members.
