The Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following Crime Awareness Community Alerts for the period Monday, April 29 to Tuesday, April 30, 2019. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

Burglary Attempt- Deputies took a report at a residence on Grady Smith Road in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual attempted to gain forced entry into the complainant’s residence causing damage to the complainant’s residence sometime between 9:00 am and 7:30 pm. Nothing appeared to be missing.
Arrest- Crystal Peters was arrested at a residence on Thompson Road for an outstanding warrant out of Newton County following a call for service.
Arrest- Jamie McAdams was arrested at a residence on Old Highway 138 for an outstanding warrant out of Loganville Police Department.
Vehicle Pursuit- Deputies were involved in a vehicle pursuit in the area of Cannon Farm Road where the suspect fled on foot. Walton County Sheriff’s Office K9 Unit responded to investigate.
Burglary- Deputies responded to a residence in the area of Amber Court in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual had made forced entry into the complainant’s residence sometime between 10:45 am and 11:30 am. Nothing appeared to be missing.
Stolen Vehicle- Deputies took a report at a residence on Cannon Farm Road in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual took the complainants red in color Ford Fusion sometime on April 30th. Vehicle was placed on the national database as stolen.
Burglary- Deputies took a report at a residence on Wood Chase Drive in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual made forced entry into complainants residence and took several items sometime between 12:00 pm April 27th and 4:00 pm April 30th.
Arrest- Bradley Springs was arrested in the area of Queens Cemetery Road for an outstanding Probation Violation warrant out of Walton County following suspicious vehicle call.
Extra Patrol- Extra patrol was requested in the area of Locklin Road in morning and evening hours in reference to complaints of speeding dump trucks in the area.
Arrest- Xavier Vonner was arrested in the area of Bold Springs Road and Roscoe Davis Road for Driving While License Suspended following a traffic stop.
Arrest- Thomas Mills was arrested at a residence on Bypass Road for Possession of Methamphetamine.
