WCSO Alerts: Wooden crosses stolen from St. Anna’s, Gun stolen from vehicle at CoParts

The Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following Crime Awareness Community Alerts for the period Friday, Oct. 25, 2019, to Monday, Oct. 28, 2019. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

Friday, Oct. 25, 2019

 Zone 2:

Theft Report: Deputies took a report in reference to Wooden crosses that were taken from the entrance of St. Anna’s Catholic Church.

Theft Report: Deputies took a report of 1998 Honda Accord parts were stolen from an address on Amber Stapp Studdard Road.

Zone 5:

Citation:  A 48-year-old of Loganville, Ga was cited for Driving Unlicensed, No Insurance while investigation traffic stop for Improper Passing near Highway 81 and Bay Creek Church Road.

Theft Report:  Deputies took a report of a firearm was missing out of his vehicle while the property was at CoParts store on Highway 20.

Scam: Deputies took a report about a white female driving around in a van with Oklahoma tags selling fake jewelry.

Suspicious: Deputies took a report of an older white male with a dead cat on a leash. Area was checked by Deputies, but did not have any contact.

Zone 6:

Theft: Deputies took a report from CoPart store on Highway 20 in reference to a firearm missing while the customer picked up his vehicle.

Saturday, Oct. 26, 2019

Zone 1:

Arrest: A 19-year-old resident of Monroe, Ga was arrested for a Larceny warrant out of Walton following an investigation from a dispute that started at Walmart.

 Zone 2:

Scam: Deputies took a report about a subject claiming to be a Sergeant from the Walton County Sheriff’s Office, stating complainant missed Jury Duty.

Zone 5:

Shoplifting: Deputies took a report about an employee that works at Boss Brothers reported subjects stole pellets, chicken feed, and Georgia boots. Suspects were driving around in a 1997 Dodge Ram with silver racing stripes.
Zone 7:

Arrest:  A 42-year-old resident of Loganville, Ga was arrested for Disorderly Conduct after a dispute occurred at a residence on Lakeside Blvd.

Sunday, Oct. 27, 2019

Zone 1:

Scam: Deputies took a report about a subject on Facebook Messenger trying to get the complainant to contribute money to a Community Service Account.

Zone 2:

Burglary: Deputies took a report about a residence on Highway 11 that had its back door shattered. The Walton County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Investigators responded to the address.

Zone 4:

Arrest: A 27-year-old female resident of Monroe, Ga was arrested for Possession of Schedule IV narcotics, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Related Object’s after Deputies conducted a traffic stop for an equipment violation near Walton Road.

Zone 5:

Arrest:  A 41-year-old resident of Monroe, Ga was arrested for Probation Violation warrant out of Walton County at an address on Bold Springs Road.

Monday, Oct. 28, 2019

Zone 1:

Arrest: A 21-year-old resident of Monroe, Ga was arrested for Pedestrian in the Roadway. He refused to obey Deputies commands on scene to stay out of the roadway for his safety and the safety of others.

Zone 3:

Theft: Deputies took a report of a Sthil Trimmer that was reported stolen from a residence on Carwood Road.

Zone 5:

Citation: A 21-year-old resident of Lawrenceville, Ga was given a citation for Possession of Marijuana Less Than 1 ounce after a traffic stop was made.

Arrest: A 47-year-old resident of Social Circle, Ga was arrested for a Probation Violation warrant out of Walton County after Deputies conducted a traffic stop.
