WCSO Alerts: Gas stolen from vehicle, gun stolen from car and burglary suspect arrested

The Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following Crime Awareness Community Alerts for the period from from Feb. 2 – 4, 2018. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

Friday, Feb. 2, 2018

ZONE 4

Arrest- Ralph Williams was arrested in the area of Highway 11 near William Harris Homestead for Driving While License Suspended following a traffic stop.

ZONE 5

Scam- Deputies took a report at a residence on Dale Drive in reference to complainant reporting an unknown caller claiming to be with the Walton County Sheriff’s Office and advised complainant if they didn’t send money they would be arrested.

ZONE 6

Agency Assist- Deputies assisted Columbus Police Department in attempting to locate a possible suspect of a hit and run accident that occurred in their jurisdiction.

Extra Patrol- Extra patrol was requested in the area of Spring Valley Drive in reference to several recent thefts that have occurred in the area.

Arrest- Alison Baranello was arrested in Snellville an outstanding Failure to Appear warrant out of Walton County. Alison was transported by Snellville Police Department to the Walton County Line where she was picked up by Walton County Sheriff’s Deputies and transported to the jail.

Suspicious Vehicle- Deputies responded to a residence in the area of Rock Court in reference to complainant reporting unknown individuals were sitting in a vehicle parked in a driveway in the area smoking what appeared to be marijuana. Deputies made contact with the owner of the residence, but they had no contact with any illegal activity.

Arrest- Rebecca Matthews was arrested at a residence in the area of Irvin Drive for Battery following a dispute.

ZONE 7

Entering Auto- Deputies took a report at a residence in the area of Averys Walk in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual took their firearm out of their vehicle sometime between January 6, 2018 and February 1, 2018. Complainant reported they did now know where this incident took place. Firearm was placed on the national database as stolen.

Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018

ZONE 2

Arrest- Robert Hudson was arrested at a residence in the area of East Vine Street for an outstanding warrant out of Rockdale County.

ZONE 4

Arrest- Stephen Arrington was arrested in the area of Shoal Creek Road near the Gratis Store for an outstanding Probation Violation warrant out of Walton County following a traffic stop.

ZONE 5

Theft- Deputies responded to a The Praise Center in the area of Highway 78 in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual took gas out of a vehicle on location.

Arrest- Ronnie Head was arrested in the area of Bay Creek Church Road near Loganville Middle School for two counts of Obstruction of an Officer, Loitering/Prowling, and Possession of Tools for Commission of a Crime following a suspicious person call.

ZONE 7

Arrest- Gary Denney was arrested in the area of Youth Jersey Road and Cook Road for Driving While License Suspended, Possession of Schedule V Drugs, Possession of Schedule IV Drugs, Possession of Drug Related Objects, and Possession of Prescription Drugs not in Original Container following a traffic stop.Citation- One motorist was cited in the area of Highway 138 and Pirklefield Drive for Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce following a traffic stop.

Arrest- Ronald Jackson was arrested at a residence in the area of Indian Trail for Criminal Trespass and Battery following being found inside a residence of individuals he didn’t know.

Sunday, Feb. 4, 2018

ZONE 2

Arrest- Quenrin Graham was arrested in the area of Highway 11 near Tanglewood Apartments for Driving While License Suspended and an outstanding warrant out of Gwinnett County following a traffic stop.

ZONE 3

Scam- Deputies took a report in the lobby at the Walton County Sheriff’s Office in reference to complainant reporting they were given two fake checks for items they were selling on craigslist.

Arrest- Domonick Huff was arrested at a residence on Thoroughbred Trail off Bethany Church Road for Battery following a dispute.

ZONE 4

Arrest- Anthony Pace was arrested at a residence in the area of Bryant Road for an outstanding warrant out of Gwinnett County.

ZONE 7

Arrest- Betty Patrick was arrested at the Texaco in the area of Highway 20 for three counts of Possession of Schedule II Drugs, four counts of Possession of Schedule IV Drugs, Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, and Possession of Drug Related Objects following be found parked on location after hours.
