The Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following Crime Awareness Community Alerts for the period Monday, May 20 – Thursday, May 23, 2019. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

Monday, May 20, 2019

Zone 3

Arrest- Roosevelt Grant was arrested in the area of South Broad Street and Vine Street for Driving Under the Influence and Open Container following a traffic stop.

Entering Auto- Deputies took a report at a residence on Old Monroe Madison Highway in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual entered the complainants unlocked vehicle and took several items sometime between 5:00 pm May 19th and 8:30 am May 20th. Walton County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division investigating the incident.

Zone 7

Arrest- Davidson Oesterle was arrested in the area of Highway 81 and Atha Circle for an outstanding warrant out of McDonough Police Department following a traffic stop.

Wednesday, May 22, 2019

Zone 3

Extra Patrol- Extra patrol was requested in the area of Highway 78 in reference to an unknown motorist in an orange in color Ford pickup backed into the complainant’s driveway when they arrived home around 8:00 pm and asked suspicious questions.

Zone 4

Arrest- Kenneth Wilson was arrested in the area of Highway 11 and John Deere Road for an outstanding warrant out of Monroe Police Department following a traffic stop.

Zone 6

Theft- Deputies took a report at a business on Lance Court in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual made forced entry onto the complainant’s property and took several items sometime between May 18th and May 22nd. Walton County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division investigating the incident.

Thursday, May 23, 2019

Zone 2

Arrest- Nathan Anderson was arrested at a residence on County Line Road for a warrant out of Conyers Police Department.

Zone 3

Arrest- Joshua Engstrom was arrested at a residence on Randolph Still Road for a warrant out of Conyers Police Department.

Entering Auto- Deputies took a report at a residence on Old Monroe Madison Highway in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual enter the complainants unlocked vehicle and took several items sometime throughout the night.

Zone 4

Arrest- David Richardson was arrested by Barrow County Sheriff’s Office for an outstanding Probation Violation warrant out of Walton County following a traffic stop in their jurisdiction. He was transported to the county line and turned over to Walton County Deputies.

Zone 7

Arrest- Amy Pence was arrested in the area of Highway 81 for Possession of Methamphetamine and an outstanding warrant out of Newton County following a traffic stop
