Walton County Farm Bureau Football Player of the Week went to WGHS Colby Yancey.
Each week during football season, Georgia Farm Bureau in Monroe is offering a game ball to the Walnut Grove High School football Warrior as chosen by the coaches. John Redding of Georgia Farm Bureau said this week’s game ball was presented to Colby Yancey.
“Yancey recovered a fumble and ran it in for a 25-yard touchdown,” Redding said.
The Warriors have a home non-conference game against North Oconee on Friday, Sept. 21. Kick off is at 7:30 p.m.
