Toys for Tots event this weekend at Hot Rods Diner

SOCIAL CIRCLE – Hot Rods Diner, located at 294 N. Cherokee Rd., in Social Circle, is hosting a drive-in this Saturday, Sept. 22, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m.
This cruise-in will feature Elvis impersonator, Doug Jones, who will perform his, “Tribute to Elvis,” show and will be joined by Dwayne Rowe performing as Jerry Lee Lewis.

This event will benefit Toys for Tots so those who attend are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate to the cause.
“We will be fully staffed and all dressed up with extra tables set up outside and some of the nicest hot rods, street rods and antique cars and trucks of all makes, models and eras, anywhere around. We’ll have plenty of great food, hand dipped shakes, malts and floats, giveaways, door prices, live music and just a great night of good ole all American family fun,” Greg Cavender, owner, said.
Remember to bring a toy and a lawn chair and enjoy an evening of nostalgia as Hot Rods Diner takes you back to the 50s.
