The Walton County Pregnancy Resource Center, now also known as Women’s Health and Wellness Clinic, is having a celebration of its services and sharing the information with the public at an event on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2018 at Grace Baptist Church in Monroe. Lauren Roman, former All My Children actress, is lending her story in words and song to help spread the word. Roman will be the special guest at the event.
Interested persons in the community who share a passion for rescuing people struggling with an unplanned pregnancy can attend to learn how the center operates and how they can help. You can hear examples of how lives have been changed, such as the life of Danielle who visited the center when she was considering an abortion. She never went back to the clinic during her pregnancy, but did contact them afterwards to let them know of her love for her newborn baby and to let it be known that she was thankful for the life-affirming services of the clinic.
The celebration, named Friends for Life, is inviting people to attend and bring with them friends who may also want to learn about the center and its services. The atmosphere of the event is casual and children are welcome. There is no cost to attend – and there will be music and give-aways.
Grace Baptist Church is located at 1025 East Spring Street in Monroe.
