Part of Monroe – Walton Center for the Arts on its Saturday Soiree Series on Oct. 12 will feature Alpacas in the Garden from 10 – 1 p.m. There will also be a demonstration of Alpaca wool spinning: 11 – 1 with Dotty from the William-Harris Homestead. You will also get to watch the fascinating traditional process of turning raw wool into yarn.
This is the same day as Monroe’s Fall Festival. Visitors are invited to drop in for BBQ fundraiser underwritten by Animal Care Hospital at Bold Springs, music and workshops – plus alpacas, a book signing and more! Soirees are held once a month – lots of food and fun!
