Burger connoisseurs had their say again this year and Amici and Bistro South came out on top Saturday. The People’s Choice Award in the 2nd Annual Battle of the Burgers went to Amici and the judge’s choice went to Bistro South.
North Lumpkin Street was closed for the event and people took full advantage of the opportunity to listen to music, get their fill of speciality burgers from Silver Queen, LR Burger, R’sJ Soulfood, Amici and Bistro South. The Wine Wagon and Southern Brewery Monroe provided speciality beverages choices and by all accounts it was another successful event.
