Annual 10th Congressional Charity Pistol Match scheduled for Sept. 30

The annual Georgia 10th Congressional Charity Pistol March, sponsored by the Walton County Sheriff’s Office and Sheriff Joe Chapman is scheduled for Sept. 30. This is the 4th year it has been held since it was revived by Chapman in 2014. Registration will start at 8 a.m. at the WCSO Range, 1425 S. Madison Ave., Monroe, GA 30655. There are three separate matches. These are:

B-27 Match: Entry Fee $20 / $10 for additional shoots  > 30 rounds per shoot

Plate match: Entry Fee $10 / $5 for additional shoots > 8 rounds min per shoot

Combat Course: Entry Fee $10 / $5 for additional shoots > 15 rounds min per shoot

Shooters Package Discount: $35 to compete in all three events

Payment is due the day of the event.

Limitations: Shooters will be limited to 9mm – .45 caliber semi-autos or revolvers, iron sights only, (no electronics). Civilian Ladies may shoot .22-.45 caliber. NO RACE GUNS ALLOWED.

Classes: Ladies, Gentlemen and Law Enforcement (current and retired)

Entry fee’s and donations are tax deductible!

Free lunch plates for the first 50 paid shooters!

  • Several gun prizes!!!  Multiple prizes awarded under the Lewis Scoring System.
