Another Monroe restaurant to close permanently Sunday

MONROE, GA (Feb. 4, 2026) – The year started with announcements from The Roe and Mal’s Krazy Krab announcing that they would be closing permanently. Both were popular local restaurants that offered something different.

This week, another restaurant that brought something different to the local cuisine as well as some entertainment for fun seekers, both young and old, announced that it would be doing the same thing.

The Thirsty Moose opened in the spring of 2024 offering here’s food, TVs to watch the big sporting events and a game alley with simulators for extra entertainment. It announced yesterday with the following statement, letting it be known that Sunday would be its last day.
