Since construction began on the new Arby’s in Monroe in front of the Home Depot center, Monroe Family and Cosmetic Dentistry has been fielding enquiries about the construction of their new office building. Not so, they say. They too wondered what the new construction was, but they were certain it was not a new office building for their practice.
The reason for the confusion is a sign at the construction site that references the dental office. However, according to staff at Monroe Family and Cosmetic Dentistry, the sign is an old one that someone on site appears to have picked up and planted in the ground -right at the construction location.
Workers at the building have confirmed, however, that the building is for the new Arbys that is headed to Monroe in the fall. Monroe Code Director Patrick Kelley confirmed at the City of Monroe Called Meeting in August that the restaurant was permitted and ready to go.
