Did you know that the William Harris Homestead is recognized as an official archaeological site? You’re invited to visit on Oct. 12 for archaeology day to learn more about the exciting research and excavations taking place at the Homestead.
As an added treat, visitors will be able to meet Abby, the ArchaeoBus! The ArchaeoBus is Georgia’s mobile archaeology classroom and traveling emissary for the Society of Georgia Archaeology. Visitors will be able to tour the bus and participate in several Activities while learning about archaeology.
