Austin Odum, of Monroe, commissioned as a second lieutenant at UNG

DAHLONEGA, GA (01/11/2019)– In ceremonies held December 15 at the University of North Georgia, 25 graduating cadets were awarded commissions as second lieutenants in the U.S. Army or Georgia National Guard.

Austin R. Odum of Monroe, GA, earned a degree in business management and commissioned in the U.S. Army-Quartermaster Corps. Odum’s parents are Richard and Connie Odum. The new officer graduated from Loganville High School in Loganville, GA in 2012.
