Bank of America locations in Monroe and Loganville temporarily closed

If you bank with Bank of America, you will have to go a little further than Monroe or Loganville branches for in-person banking options at the moment. These local branches are temporarily closed and it is unclear as to how long these closures will remain. It is also not clear exactly why except for a message online and over the phone stating that these branches are closed.

According to research online, this is something that has been ongoing for some time at varying branches throughout the country. When asked why by an ABC affiliate back in August last year, Colleen Haggarty, senior Vice President of Media Relations to the Bank of America gave the following response after saying that the institution has been “briefly closing centers since early in the pandemic.”

“These temporary closures occur in areas where foot traffic is low, or when staffing is not sufficient for all to remain open,” Haggerty told the ABC affiliate. “When a center closes, we work to reopen it as soon as possible.”
