The Georgia Department of Education recently named Bay Creek Elementary School and Youth Middle School Title I Reward Schools based on their most recent CCRPI scores.
Reward Schools are among the greatest-improving 5% of Title I Schoolwide schools and Title I Targeted Assistance schools in the state. Reward Schools have also maintained the performance of their economically disadvantaged students, students with disabilities and English learners. From 2018 to 2019 Bay Creek Elementary and Youth Middle improved their CCRPI scores by 17.1 points and 15.3 points, respectively.
“I would like to congratulate Bay Creek Elementary and Youth Middle for being recognized at the state level for their impressive academic gains over the past year,” said Superintendent Nathan Franklin. “I appreciate our staff’s commitment to continuous improvement and meeting the needs of all students.
