On Sunday, Oct. 27, 2024, you can experience the thrill of a lifetime by skydiving or cheering on those jumping while enjoying the Fall Festival- all to support ESP’s mission. You are invited to join for an exhilarating festival packed with skydiving and fully accessible family fun, all supporting ESP’s mission to create transformative experiences for people with disabilities and their families.
The annual event takes place at the Cy Nunnally Memorial Monroe-Walton Airport every year and the proceeds are used to support the ESP summer camp.
Big Jump is a day-long event that begins at 11 a.m. with the first jump and runs until 3 p.m. The day is a fun community event with food, fun and a positive experience for all who attend. The jumpers spend months leading up to the festival raising funds for the event. Then at the completion of their fundraising, they celebrate with skydiving. This year there will be an appearance by DJ Rockin’ Wheels!

Big Jump Festival
The presenting sponsor this year is Athens Seed Lawn and Garden. Also one of the official sponsors is the local law offices of Crawford and Boyle. Two of the attorneys, Eric Crawford and Kevin Charles, will be skydiving, in costume and they’re asking you to support their effort in support of the Big Jump.
“Of course, we want to have some fun with this. Since the jump is so near to Halloween, we’re going to let YOU decide what they wear. Would you like to see Eric in a clown costume? How about Kevin as a French Maid? You can make it happen in just three easy steps,” they wrote in seeking supporters for their efforts.

3. Forward your donation confirmation email to eric@walton.law along with which costume you’d like to allocate the donation to.
We will post regular updates on here and on the ESP page about what costumes have been suggested and how much money for each. The contest will end close of business on 10/23 (which will give us time to shop), and the costume for each with the most money wins!
Unfortunate caveat: this is a family event, so keep that in mind with the costumes.
