Occupants were all able to evacuate
WALTON COUNTY, GA (Aug. 1, 2026) – Officials report that an early morning fire Saturday on Sharon Church Road has resulted in the displacement of four adults and a child.
According to Walton County Fire Rescue Deputy Chief, Craig League, at 5:57 a.m. this morning, firefighters from WCFR and Loganville Fire Department responded to a structure fire in the 6200 block of S. Sharon Church Road.
“Upon arrival the house was fully involved. All of the occupants were able to evacuate from the home. The fire has displaced 4 adults and 1 child,” League said. “The cause of the fire has not been determined at this point.”
League confirmed that the home is a total loss.
