A house fire at 4785 Center Hill Church Road has closed Center Hill Church Road at Gum Creek Lane due to hose and apparatus, according to Capt. Jeff Allen with Walton County Fire Rescue.
“The fire dept received the call for a fire at 4:42 p.m. this afternoon. Three adults were displaced, but not injured. High heat and humidity made for tough conditions for our firefighters, so we are taking measures to ensure they are properly hydrated,” Allen said.
No injuries were reported, but Allen said the house is a total loss.
