The on again off again GOP Rally for the Senate today is back on again, at least for the senators. It is not clear whether Ivanka Trump will be in attendance at this time. The COVID-19 Relief Package vote has been delayed until later this evening. The event has been rescheduled to 4:30 p.m.
The Walton County GOP Rally for the Senate scheduled for this afternoon has been canceled. Senators had to return to Washington DC for the vote on COVID-19 relief bill. Ivanka Trump cancelled as well. It will be rescheduled for a future as yet undecided date.
The Walton County Republican Party is hosting a Rally for the Senate at 4 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 21, at the farm of the local GOP Party chairman Roy Roberts.
In town for the event are headliner Ivanka Trump along with the three incumbent Republicans who are on the runoff ballot, US Senators Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue as well as Georgia Public Service Commissioner Bubba McDonald. Other speakers featured in the Rally are US House Representatives Jody Hice, (G-10) and Dan Crenshaw (Tx-2), Georgia Governor Brian Kemp and Agriculture Commissioner Gary Black.
“Everybody is welcome and face coverings are required.” The farm is located at 54 Nunnally Farms Road in Monroe.
