Gwinnett County Fire and Emergency Services freed a man trapped in his home by a tree that had fallen on the home at Inman Mobile Home Park in the 751 block of Athens Highway in the Loganville area of unincorporated Gwinnett. Firefighters responded to the call from a man who said his brother was trapped inside the home.
“Crews arrived to find an adult male still inside the mobile home with his legs pinned by a tree,” Capt. Tommy Rutledge, public information officer for GCFR said in a press release. “Firefighters used airbags to free the man and transported him (non-emergency) to Eastside Medical Center in Snellville. His injuries were non-life threatening.”
Rutledge said the tree caused heavy damage to the structure.
