Gov. Brian Kemp has issued a statewide shelter-in-place order and officially canceled in-school classes for the rest of the school year. Callen Moore, a spokesperson for the Walton County School District, confirmed that distance/digital learning will continue for the remainder of the school year.
The shelter-in-place will go into effect Friday and will last, at this time, until April 13, 2020.
In a press conference, Kemp said he will sign the order tomorrow and it will contain specific details.
