Victim turned up at the hospital with gunshot wound

MONROE, GA – (May 16, 2022) – The City of Monroe Police Chief R.V. Watts confirmed that there was a shooting in Monroe over the weekend.

Watts said that a victim turned up at Piedmont Hospital in Monroe Saturday with a gunshot wound to the foot. He said the incident is currently being investigated by the Monroe Police Department.
