SOCIAL CIRCLE, GA (Sept. 18, 2024) – Capt. Samantha Rose with the Social Circle Police Department confirmed that they have asked the Georgia Bureau of Investigation to assist in a suspicious death investigation.
“The investigation started as a shots fired call on Carver Drive where one victim was discovered with a gunshot wound,” Rose said. “The investigation is ongoing and we’re in the process of trying to get confirm and gather additional information.”
Rose confirmed that the victim did not survive the gunshot wound. No further information is being released at this time.
