Fire officials confirm that crews from Walton County Fire Rescue, assisted by crews from Monroe Fire Department, are on the scene of a working house fire on Bearden Road in Monroe. Battalion Chief Craig League with WCFR said fire crews reported heavy fire on arrival.
League said the people in the home were able to make it out, but there is heavy fire damage throughout the old victorian home.
