Breaking: WCSO and WCFR are on the scene of the emergency landing of a small aircraft near Bold Springs

Only minor injuries reported

First responders from Walton County are on the scene of a small airplane that had to make an emergency landing in a field near Bold Springs. Walton County Fire Rescue and Walton County Sheriff’s Office reposed to the scene.

“The field is in the front yard of a home. The plane came to a stop after striking a small tree,” said WCFR Assistant Fire Chief Craig League. “The pilot has only minor injuries.”

The plane landed on property at 3590 Bold Springs Road. It came to rest against an outdoor swing seat.
