No injuries to students
Monroe Fire Department Chief Bill Owens reports that West Spring Street is blocked near the entrance to George Walton Academy due to an accident between a Walton County school bus and an SUV. Only minor injuries reported.
MFD Batallion Chief Jack Armstrong confirmed that there were no injuries to the three students on the bus.
“(There is) heavy congestion on West Spring Street. Avoid the area for at least 30 minutes,” Armstrong said.
Georgia State Patrol will work the wreck.
