Georgia State Patrol is confirming that there was a wreck Friday morning on S. Broad Street in Monroe (close to Monroe Country Day School according to a witness). GSP Trooper First Class Cal Barton said there were no students on board at the time and the driver of the other car involved is OK. Avoid the area if possible.
