Brunch with Chef Ponder is back at Southern Brewing in Monroe Sunday

It is the third Sunday of the month and that means Brunch with the Real Chef J. Ponder is back at Southern Brewing in Monroe. The celebrity chef will be cooking from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. this Sunday, March. 21, in the Monroe taproom! Chef Ponder is a Monroe native who has gone on to make his name in the culinary world. After getting his early training in the kitchen while serving in the Navy, he has gone on to make his name in cuisine television programs such as Chopped as well as Cutthroat Kitchen – which he won.

Again this weekend, he is bringing his culinary skills back home to Monroe for brunch in the taproom. On the menu, chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits, fish and grits, a special “Roe” big breakfast and a Sunday Brinner!
