You’re invited to join Downtown Monroe again on Thursday evening to celebrate the joys of the holiday season. From 5 – 8 p.m., you can stroll down the beautifully lit sidewalks, see the Live Nativity, have your photo taken with Santa, and for $10 a ride you can even enjoy a carriage ride in Downtown Monroe. The stores in Monroe will be open later on Thursday so you can also shop for those gifts that you still have on your Christmas list.
The restaurants also will be open so you’re invited to celebrate the Christmas Season in Downtown Monroe. Next Thursday, you can expect the same again, except you can visit with Santa for photographs in the pocket park instead of the Grinch.
