City of Between joins Loganville on the Town Green July 1 as Walton County’s America 250 celebration week continues

The City of Loganville and Between continue Walton County’s weeklong celebration of America’s 250th birthday with an event in Loganville on Wednesday, July 1.

The event, taking place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the Loganville Town Green will feature family-friendly activities, food trucks and a DJ as the community continues the nation’s Semiquincentennial — the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

Walton County’s America 250 festivities will continue through July 4 with patriotic events, concerts, food trucks, parades, and fireworks hosted by communities across the county. Organizers say the countywide celebration highlights both the nation’s history and Walton County’s role in the American story. 

The 250th anniversary marks a historic milestone for the United States. America250, the national commemoration effort established by Congress, encourages communities across the country to reflect on the nation’s past, honor those who shaped its history, and look toward the future. July 4, 2026, marks 250 years since the Declaration of Independence was adopted in 1776.
