Each week during football season, Georgia Farm Bureau in Monroe is offering a game ball to the Walnut Grove High School football Warrior who is chosen by the coaches.
Last week, Walnut Grove Player of the Game went to Colin Evon. Colin had six tackles, one tackle for a loss and one sack. Game Ball was delivered by Customer Service Rep Mary Firebaugh.
The Warriors lost to Clark Central High by 40 to 3. The Warriors are off this weekend. Their next game is Friday, Oct. 26 when they travel to Gwinnett County to take on the Buford Wolves in a Conference game.
