COVID-19: Georgia 142; Gwinnett 3; Walton 3 deaths reported in the past 24 hours

Georgia cases 6,407 plus 2,915 Antigen positives reported for 9,322 total positive tests in the past 24 hours

The following is a snapshot of the statistics reported by the Georgia Department of Public Health on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2021. Gwinnett County is reporting three death in the past 24 hours, Walton County is reporting three more deaths and Georgia is reporting 142 more deaths in the past 24 hours. 

Walton County

Cases – 5,752 – 46 more cases reported in the past 24 hours – 1,125 in the past 2 weeks 
Cases per 100,000 – 6,003 cumulative (1,174 per 100,000 in past 2 weeks)
Total deaths – 96 – that’s three more death reported over the past 24 hours (deaths per 100,000 is 100.2)
Testing 27.4 % positive in the past 2 weeks, overall 14.7 % (27.4 % of those tested came back positive over the past 2 weeks) 

Gwinnett County

Cases – 62,014 – that’s 704 more cases reported in the past 24 hours  (10,322 in the past 2 weeks).
Cases per 100,000 – 6,313 cumulative (1,063 per 100,000 in past 2 weeks)
Total deaths – 600 – That’s three more deaths reported in the past 24 hours (61.8 deaths per 100,000 reported)
Testing – 25.2 % positive in the past 2 weeks, overall 12.4 % (25.2 % of those tested came back positive over the past 2 weeks)

Georgia

Confirmed cases – 660,720 that is 6,407 more cases reported in the past 24 hours. An additional 2,915 Antigen positive cases also were reported in the past 24 hours.
ICU admissions – 7,869 – 132 more admissions reported in the past 24 hours Hospitalizations – 45,893 – That’s 360 more hospitalizations reported in past 24 hours, 
Total deaths – 10,721– That is 142 more deaths reported in the past 24 hours.

A total of 5,801,007 PCR/Molecular tests have been performed and 419,581 antibody tests. That is 37,033 PCR/Molecular test results reported in the last 24 hours. Of the these tests performed collectively, 624,405 (10.8 %) have come back positive and 51,321 (12.2 %) antibody tests have come back positive. Today 6,081 (16.4 %) PCR/Molecular tests came back positive.

Walton County Nursing Homes and Assisted Living Facilities 

Great Oaks, Monroe – 28 confirmed staff members and 60 residents. That’s no more residents and two more staff members reported positive in the past so far this year. There have been 10 deaths, no more reported in the past 24 hours.

Hollander Senior Living, Monroe, Two residents, 3 confirmed staff case, two deaths – That’s no more staff members or residents reporting positive and one more death reported in the past 24 hours.

Magnolia Senior Living – Loganville – (Gwinnett County) has 2 staff members who have tested positive – That is no additional case reported in the past 24 hours.

Park Place, Monroe – 119 resident cases, 64 confirmed staff cases, 30 deaths – That’s two more staff, two more resident cases and 1 more deaths reported in the past 24 hours.

The Retreat at Loganville Pearl Memory Care Building – 23 confirmed resident cases, four deaths – 19 recovered – 2 staff members – That’s one more staff member in the past 24 hours.

The Retreat at Loganville: 39 confirmed resident cases – 25 staff cases and 6 deaths. That is no more residents, no more staff cases or resident deaths in the past 24 hours.

Social Circle Nursing and Rehab in Social Circle is reporting that 23 residents and 13 staff members tested positive for COVID-19 and two resident death were reported. No more cases reported or deaths reported in the past 24 hours.
