If you’re looking to spread some Christmas cheer to some children who may not otherwise get to have such a great Christmas, Georgia State Patrol Post 46 and the Georgia Department of Natural Resources in Walton County are making it easier for you to do so. Both locations have been opened up as drop off points for the Marine Corps Toys for Tots drive for Christmas 2018.
GSP Post- 46 Monroe is located at 327 State Highway 11, Monroe (between Monroe and Social Circle) and the DNR has two drop off sites – one at the Law Enforcement division at 2070 Highway 278 SE Social Ciclr and another at 2065 Highway 278 SE in Social Circle. This is the game management/boat registration office.
“Also what a great Christmas idea: while you’re here, get the outdoor lover in your life the gift that keeps on giving the whole year, buy a hunting or fishing license as a gift,” Georgia DNR notes.
