Doug Blevins named CEO of Kindness in Loganville

Ed Horrell, founder of The Kindness Revolution™, recently announced that Doug Blevins of the ALFA Insurance Agency has been named “CEO of Kindness” for Loganville, GA.

“This is our highest honor” Horrell said in a press release. “We declare one leading recipient in each community in which we are active and we are pleased to award Doug this honor!”

Doug’s agency is leading the local Kindness Revolution. TKR Founder said, “While most of us take being kind and respectful as a given, those behaviors seem to be disappearing. All you have to do is spend a few minutes on social media or watch political coverage to realize civility isn’t what it used to be. People have no qualms about using inappropriate language, casting accusations and slamming others in a feeding frenzy of unkind words.”

Blevins wants to change that by raising awareness of the importance of acts of kindness and old-fashioned values such as dignity and respect.

Following the premise that actions speak louder than words, Blevins launched his kindness campaign  with a posting on social media. He invited citizens to stop by the agency for a free “kindness” bracelet. The wristbands sport messages such as “IT’S COOL 2B KIND” and “THE KINDNESS REVOLUTION.”

Blevins and his team are committed to values-based customer service and are pleased to have been selected as the exclusive local representatives of The Kindness Revolution™.
