The monthly TRIAD S.A.L.T. meeting in Loganville for senior citizens in the community for February is this Friday, March 6, 2020.
“A delicious breakfast will be served at 9 a.m. Come out and join us eating beautiful green pancakes to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day,” said Janice Tribble. “Great food, great fellowship. Can’t wait to see all of you.”
Rick Vetsch from the O’Kelly Memorial Library will be the guest speaker. Be sure to bring your canned goods for the Shepard Staff and enjoy a great breakfast hosted by the Retreat at Loganville (formerly Southern Plantation.)
On the first Friday of every month, local senior citizens gather in the community room at the Retreat at Loganville (formerly Southern Plantation) for the Walton County S.A.L.T. TRIAD meeting. S.A.L.T., which stands for Seniors and Law Enforcement, gives law enforcement the opportunity to meet with seniors and brief them on what is going on in the community and address some of their safety concerns. City and county officials also give an update on items of interest to residents – and breakfast is served.
The meeting takes place in the community room at the Retreat at Loganville, 580 Tommy Lee Fuller Drive in Loganville. Breakfast is served at 9 a.m. and the meeting usually concludes by 10:30 a.m.
TRIAD was the subject of a feature in one of the issues of Walton Living Magazine. To read the history of how it came to Walton County and what it offers seniors in the community, click on this link.
