Eve of 2020 Election finally arrives

After literally years in the run up to the General Election and endless ads since then for the runoffs, an end is finally in sight. Anybody who has not voted in the runoff election has just one more chance to do so – Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2021. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The candidates are all making their final pitch with the Democratic and Republican candidates each bringing in the heavy hitters to try and close the deal for them. President Donald Trump will be in Georgia Monday in an effort to help bring it home for US Senators Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue. His legacy depends on their re-election. President-Elect Joe Biden also will be in Georgia to try and close the deal for Democratic challengers Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff. Biden’s agenda depends on their election.

Loeffler was in Loganville Saturday, walking neighborhoods with Republican officials, Georgia Rep. Tom Kirby, Walton County Commissioner Lee Bradford and Loganville Mayor Rey Martinez.

Martinez said it was an honor for him to welcome Loeffler to Loganville.

“Kelly has been a champion not only for Georgia but Loganville as well. I have first hand witnessed her dedication & hard work to the great Citizens of Georgia,” Martinez said. “I want to thank Senator Loefler for taking time out of her busy schedule to door knock & visit the great Citizens of Loganville.”
