Everlasting Bridal store to open in Monroe in the spring

Monroe’s varied retail and recreation options continue to grow. This time in the genre of making memories – everlasting memories.

Everlasting Bridal, a store that will help those planning on making that big commitment find the perfect formalwear for the occasion, will open in Monroe this spring

“Several years ago, I started dreaming of opening a bridal store in our precious little town of Monroe, GA. A few week ago, I found the perfect space and I’m just thrilled,” owner Any Gelsthorpe wrote on the Everlasting Bridal Facebook page.

Amy Gelsthorpe, owner of Everlasting Bridal

Gelsthorpe, who has already invested in the city with her other store, American Trilogy, said that perfect location is a little further down at 600 S. Broad Street close to The Factory at Walton Mills, the newest event venue in town.

“There is the Factory, Jagged Edge, then me,” Gelsthorpe said.

The build-out to complete the decor of the story is currently underway and Gelsthorpe said she hopes to open by April or early May.

“My prayer is that Everlasting Bridal Monroe will be a place where you find all of your formalwear needs! Thank you to my beautiful small town for all of the support thus far! I can’t wait to be a part of future memories that will be everlasting,” Gelsthorpe wrote.

Gelsthorpe is not only an owner of American Trilogy and the soon-to-be-open Everlasting Bridal, but she also is an author of children’s books.
