Facebook to award $175,000 to small businesses in Walton County

Walton County, GA (May 11, 2020)— The Walton County Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Facebook, announces the Walton County Small Business Grants to support small businesses in Walton County affected by COVID-19. Grants of up to $2,500 are available to provide funding for fixed operational costs. Grant applications will be accepted from May 11- 20, 2020. Eligibility guidelines and a link to the application are available at www.waltonchamber.org/small-business-resources.

“Small businesses are the heart of Walton County and we are committed to helping our business community during these uncertain times,” said Teri Smiley, President, Walton CountyChamber of Commerce. “We are grateful to Facebook that small businesses in our county will be able to receive relief because of their generosity, and we look forward to the positive impactthese grants will have on the community.”
