The Walton County Fair returns to Walton County Tuesday, April 16, through  Saturday, April 20, 2019. The gates open at 5 p.m. weekdays and at noon on Saturday. From noon to 1 p.m., Saturday is free for just that 1 hour. Gate admission is $3 for all persons from ages 5 to 64. Children under five and seniors 65 and over and veterans get in free. The cost for rides through Thursday is $20 and for Friday and Saturday it is $25. Wednesday is student night and all students are admitted for free. Tuesday is ladies night and all ladies get in for free. The cost for the rides both nights is still a flat rate of $20.

Henna and face painting artist Jane Gabrielle returns with the Walton County Fair.
“I use authentic Henna made by myself using the organic, dried plant”, said Gabrielle. “This isn’t like those expensive beach tattoos in black that don’t last and can burn the skin. My henna is natural and will give a rich, brown stain.”

The fair is at at the American Legion Walton County Fairgrounds at 1317 E Church Street in Monroe. The  event is by Drew Exposition.
