H.D. Atha Road was temporarily shut down overnight as crews from Walton County Fire Rescue and Loganville Fire Department worked to put out a structure fire on HD Atha Road near Youth Monroe.
At 12.36 a.m. on Dec. 19, 2018, Capt. Jeff Allen of WCFR reported that units were on the scene of the fire and the road was still closed from Youth Monroe Road to Sardis Church Road. The Red Cross is assisting the family from the home.
